Devils Tongue (Amorphophallus) in the Botanical Garden in Basle.

During the Eastern Days a Devils Tongue (Amorphophallus) bloomed in the botanical garden in Basle. This 2 meter high plant needs 17 years to bloom and then does it for less than 3 days. This happened the last time in Switzerland 75 years ago! Meanwhile more than 10.000 people came to admire it.
