Since 2014 the federation has been sending every 2 months by email an internal letter to the members of the executive boards of the member structures, to the people responsible for the management of the allotment sites around Paris and to the members of the council of the allotment gardeners of the sites around Paris. This letter gives information on the federation as well as advice to facilitate the day-to-day management of the people in charge of the association.

The federation organised together with the municipality a discussion forum in Gradignan entitled: "from wasteland to gardens". In 2014 this meeting gathered approximately a hundred elected people, leaseholders, technical bodies and scientists.

Urbanists, landscape architects, agronomes and planning bodies discussed the problems of the various types o vaste lands, vasteland and their urban, social, economic and environmental challenges. Examples of gard0ening grounds in France and abroad enriched the discussions during roundtables and lectures. The ways to proceed for allotments to be a tool to reconquer these grounds were enumerated. Sandrine Baudry, master of conferences at Strasbourg university drafted the report of this meeting.

This document positions the federation as a leading consultant in the reflexions on the place of gardens in our society today and tomorrow.
